The objective of this laboratory is to introduce the basic ideas behind colorimetry, the quantitative measurement and manipulation of color. After you have completed this laboratory, you will understand how to display images on a calibrated monitor to accurately produce the colors of an image.
To run this laboratory, you will need: Anaconda and python.
Laboratory Procedure - Instructions for running the laboratory in pdf format.
data.npy- Python file containing two illuminants and color matching functions.
reflect.npy - Python file containing 2-D array of spectral reflectance functions.
img.tif - Correct image calibration for D65 illuminant and monitor parameters of 709 primaries, D65 white point and gamma= 2.2.
